Moving Image Art Presents - Favorites from Another Experiment By Women Film Festival

This month the Pasadena based film series Moving Image Art (MIA) presents a selection of films from the Another Experiment By Women Film Festival (AXWFF), an event curated by Lili White. The AXWFF screens at the Anthology Film Archives in New York City and promotes the work of experimental films made by women that encourage critical thinking and dialogue.

The 90-minute MIA / AXWFF program will feature the work of 18 women that explores a wide range of topics, such as mother-child relationships, the duality of place and remembering a friend who has passed away. Like previous MIA programs, this evening is sure to expose the audience to artists who are pushing the boundaries of this vibrant medium.
