    • Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)
      The largest art museum in the western United States.
    • Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)
      One of the most renowned permanent collections of contemporary art in the United States. MOCA has two locations in downtown Los Angeles.
    • Norton Simon Museum
      The Norton Simon Museum holds a large collection of European art from the Renaissance to the 20th century, a collection of South and Southeast Asian art spanning 2,000 years and Modern and Contemporary Art from Europe and the United States.
    • Santa Monica Museum of Art
      This non-collecting museum is located on the westside of Los Angeles. Its exhibitions and programs reveal the vibrant, untold stories and pivotal moments in the history of contemporary art and culture.
    • The Getty
      The J. Paul Getty Museum is comprised of the Getty Center in Los Angeles and the Getty Villa in Malibu. Admission is free at both locations.
    • The Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA)
      The Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA) is dedicated to the exhibition of California art, architecture, and design from 1850 to the present.
    • Torrance Art Museum
      The Museum encourages all people to develop and increase their understanding and appreciation for modern and contemporary artwork via a variety of exhibitions, as well as educational programs, artist talks, lectures, and symposia.

    • Los Angeles Policie Historical Society Museum
      The Los Angeles Police Museum collects, preserves, exhibits and interprets the history of the LAPD.
    • Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County
      The Museum was the first dedicated museum building in Los Angeles, opening its doors in 1913. It has amassed one of the world’s most extensive and valuable collections of natural and cultural history — with more than 35 million objects.
